Happy birthday to me! Today is my birthday and I'm excited to share what I got this week!
NetGalley/Edelweiss/Booktrovert:
All For Play (Frontrunners #3) by Josie Juniper
This series has plagued me a bit. I DNF'd the first book because I was just too annoyed with the FMC and MMC to care about it (see my thoughts HERE). The book needed some serious editing and a good content read! I gave the second book a chance and I LOVED it (see my review HERE). So now I saw this as read now and said, ok, let's try this one. I hope it's not a dud. Putting a woman on an F1 team as a driver can go wrong in a book so I hope the author did her research and gives that girl justice.
Anatomy of Yoga For Posture and Health by Nicky Jenkins and Leigh Brandon
Another read now. I am in my Yoga era and trying to read things and learn. I'm interested to see what this one says. I know I'll have to read it on my iPad so I can see the illustrations well.
Not That Kind of Proposal by Victoria Lavine
One of my most anticipated books coming out this year! I absolutely adored Lavine's debut Any Trope But You (see my review HERE) and was stalking NetGalley for this one (though I probably would have gotten a widget as I got one for the first book; but I could not wait for that). I saw it pop up on NetGalley, requested, and, BOOM, approved within minutes. I cannot wait to read this one!
The Anniversary by Alex Finlay
I have not read a Finlay book but have seen them everywhere and people seem to really like this author. I'm looking for new to be thriller authors and this one was read now so I took the plunge. Fingers crossed the writing is as good as everyone says it is.
The Wicked and the Damned (The Dark Inheritance #2) by Rebecca Robinson
The publisher sent me this widget a while back but I wasn't sure I would get to it before it's release date next week (February 24th), so I hadn't dowloaded it. I finished the first book at the beginning of this week and WOW is all I can say. I am in love with this series so I took the plunge and loaded it on my Kindle. My review will definitely go up as next as I'm almost done with it and already cannot wait for the third installment. If you're a Maas and Bardugo fan, get this series now!
Yes, Chef by Grace Reilly
This one sounds like so much fun. I have not read this author but I do have her hockey series on my Kindle. I absolutely love this cover, as well.
Yoga Off The Mat by Sage Rountree and Alexandra DeSiato
Another book for my yoga era. I'm trying to absorb it all!
My plan is to stop by the bookstore later and treat myself to something special, though I'm not sure what. I will post about that next week!
What did you get?
