New release Tuesday is here. Let's see what I'm excited about this week!
The Night We Lost Him by Laura Dave
This one was really great. If you're looking for a mystery/thriller, though, this one is not it. While there is some mystery, this one is really more about family and their relationships. I got to read this one early and you can see my review HERE
The Heart of the World (The Isle of the Gods #2) by Amie Kaufman
I haven't read the first book in this series, nor have I read any Amie Kaufman that I can recall. But I've heard really good things about the author so I look forward to seeing what this series is all about.
A Song of Ash and Moonlight (The Middlemist Trilogy #2) by Claire Legrand
I have not read the first book in this series but it is a series I have highly anticipated. I really love Legrand's writing and cannot wait to start this one. Though I'll probably wait until they are all released.
When We Flew Away by Alice Hoffman
Historical fiction is not much my thing but I like the idea Hoffman has for this book. This one takes place before Anne Frank wrote her diary,;before she was hiding away from the world in the hopes of escaping capture and death.
Westfallen by Ann and Ben Brashares
I don't read many middle grades these days, but this looks interesting. A story that takes place if the German's won WWII.
The Lost Story by Meg Shaffer
I was lucky to get an early copy of this title. You can read my review HERE. Meg Shaffer is one of my new favorite authors. I love the magical realism she infuses into her books and I'm looking forward to what she comes up with in the future.
What books are you anticipating this week?
