It's been a busy week with books. Check out all my new stuff!
For my Kindle:
Somewhere Beyond the Sea (Cerulean Chronicles #2) by T.J. Klune
One of my most anticipated for this year. I tried to get an early review but it was impossible to secure. So as soon as it was published, I grabbed a copy. I'm busy reviewing a few titles that are due soon but this will be my next pleasure read once I'm done.
A Song of Ash and Moonlight (The Middlemist Trilogy Book Two) by Claire Legrand
I have not started this trilogy yet but I adore Legrand and her writing so I'm sure I will love this trilogy as much as the other books I've read by her.
Season of Flesh and Flame (Shades of Rust and Ruin #2) by A.G. Howard
Tried as I might, I could not get an early copy of this book to review despite having been given the first book in the series to review (you can see that review HERE). So of course I had to dowload it as soon as it was published. I cannot wait to read it. Howard writes some really amazing fantasy and her descriptions are top notch!
Quicksilver (Fae and Alchemy #1) by Callie Hart
Everyone is talking about this one. Or at least I'm seeing it posted all over my book groups. I've tried not to read anything because I never want things to be ruined. But I'm also nervous because often times the books that are loved in my groups I end up not liking at all (I'm looking at you Still Beating). We shall see what I think!
First- Time Caller by B.K. Borison
Billed as a twist on Sleepless in Seattle, that alone had me requesting this title for review. I adored that movie so much!
Fun for the Whole Family by Jennifer E. Smith
This one was sent via widget from the publisher. I've reviewed Smith's other books in the past so I'm guessing this is why they reached out. I really like her writing and have enjoyed her books in the past so hopefully I love this one.
The Last One at the Wedding by Jason Rekulak
I've been into a mysteries a bit lately. Plus, I'm loving doing the audio reviews. So I requested this one to listen to. I hope I like it as I'm seeing mixed things about it.
The Slowest burn by Sarah Chamberlain
Another audio request. I've not heard of these narrators before. I've already started it as it's due soon. So far I like the female narrator but the male narrator is leaving something to be desired.
Bought/Gifted:
The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst
The Cursed (Coven of Bones #2) by Harper L. Woods
Obsidian (Lux #1) by Jennifer Armentrout
Repeat After me by Jessica Warman
Immortal Dark (The Immortal Dark Trilogy #1) by Tigest Girma
I went on a shopping trip with my mom and we stopped by Indigo (the only one in the US) to check out the books. I had a gift card so I used that and my mom paid for the rest! Excited to have them all on my self!
Special Edition Order:
I really enjoyed The Glacian Trilogy by Stacey McEwan and just had to have this beauty in my collection. I'm on the look out to buy the first two but they are hard to come by. Hopefully, I will get to complete my collection in the future.
What did you get this week?
