The Cover Contessa's Review:
This is my first ever music review! So bare with me while I
try to tell you how I felt about it.
I received a copy of the Hudson Lights CD to listen to and give an honest review.
I knew from the short preview I had gotten on I Am A Reader
Not A Writer that I was going to
love Hudson Lights. They mix
elements of jazz and slow rock with a soothing and melodious sound. I loved
every piece on the CD and found myself singing along immediately, even though I
had never heard the songs before.
This band likes to do covers of songs from Josh Groban to
Elton John to The Beatles to U2. It’s a great variety that comes together well.
Their versions are upbeat and fun when need be, and slow and heart warming at
There are also songs on the CD that are original to this
group. I particularly liked the song Hold On To Me.
If you enjoy the likings of Harry Conick Junior or Michael
Buble, you should totally pick up this CD. I promise you will not be
"Call Me Maybe"
