Feature Friday with Cynthia Cyny

It's Feature Friday, again! Today I would like to welcome blogger Cynthia Cyn to The Cover Contessa. Cynthia runs We All Make Mistakes In Books. She has generously agreed to answer my barrage of questions and I'm really excited to have her here. So without further ado, let's hear what she has to say!

Where were you born and where do you call home?

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and have lived here my entire life.

How long have you been a blogger?

Almost a year...

What is the name of the book you most recently blogged about?

I just schedule the post for Love Unrehearsed (Love series #2) By Tina Reber to go live next week :):D

Did you like the cover? Rate it on a scale of 1 stars to 5 stars, 5 being the best?

Not very much… I give it a 3.5 star

If you could ask the author 3 questions about this book, what would they be?

Why is it so much shorter than the first and has so many jumps in time?
Would the book have been different if a publisher wasn’t involved in this one? (She was an indie author)
Was it easier to write about them now or keeping up with all the drama made it harder?

Can you name a favorite scene from the book?

Yesss! Napkins scene! (I call it that hehe) It’s sooo cute and funny you just melt right there reading that. Taryn and Ryan just start writing things they’ll do for each other over napkins… *sighs*
Or when they start throwing shoes (expensive shoes, mind you) around the room but they aren’t fighting. Actually they end up having one of the sweetest conversations of the book.

What character did you like the most? The least? Why?

The best: Marie (Taryn’s best friend) because we get to see so much more of her and see her grow as a person. She gets to finally go after her dreams.

The Least: Tammy (Taryn’s other friend) because she turns into an evil person out of nowhere… I can’t really get her reasons for it and she was plain mean most of the book.

Was this a series or stand alone? If it is a series, will you read the rest of the books?

Is the sequel to Love Unscripted. If there’s more (and I hear there will be one more, YAY!) I will definitively read it.

Was this a review book or something you picked out to read? Do you think that influenced your review?

I picked it. And no… I always try to be nice and kind when there’s something I don’t like and ramble over the things I loved weather I was given the book to review or buy it for me.

What did you rate this book?

5 stars! Ryan is an A-List movie star after all, he deserves the best.

Have you written a book yourself or are you planning to in the future?

Nope. I wrote fan fics when I was younger and I only finish one  full length so… you can imagine lol! It is something I’d like to do but I just can’t find the will to sit down and write it… there’s so many awesome books to read first!

What genre is your favorite and why?

YA or this new mix between YA and adult. I think I prefer the first because I want to be like that forever, no big obligations and discovering yourself and the world for the first time. Yeah that’s awesome. And the second choice I guess it’s because I’m 20 and some things in YA aren’t as easy to relate as they were before.

But if you wanted something more specific, Urban Fantasy or Paranormal. Give Vampires and were things and that “I gotta save the world” thing and I’ll be the happiest puppy in the house.

If you were shipwrecked on a desert island what 3 books would you want with you and why?

Only 3?! So hard… Uhm…

Just On Wish by Janette Rallison because I absolutely love that book even though it makes me cry like a baby.
Vampire Academy #1 by Richelle Mead because Rose is my favorite character ever and I can never get tired of reading that series and even though that is not my fav book in the series I need, as in my OCD doesn’t let me do otherwise, to take the first.
And Fever #1 by Karen Marie Mooning because that series is awesome as well besides I’m sure Barrons in a desert island would be the best company… :P

Is there an Author that you would really like to meet? Is there an author that you really wanted to meet and had the pleasure of doing so?

Yes! Richelle Mead! And sadly because I live so far away from everything that’s cool in the world of books I haven’t met any of my fav authors.

Do you prefer ebooks, paperbacks or hardcover?

You’re making hard questions… what’s next? Chocolate or Vanilla? Please no!
Right, to the question... Paperbacks. Easy to handle and take in your purse or backpack.

Where do you buy your books?

Honestly wherever I find the book I want or the Book Depository. Amazon if it’s ebooks.

Have you ever read a book more than once? Which one and why?

Yes. More than twice too… All Vampire Academy, Fever series complete, Godmother and Just One Wish by Janette Rallison. Obsidian and Onyx by JL Armentrout. Hush Hush series…
You know what? I’ll stop there LOL! And why… because I love the story and the characters and sometimes I kinda miss them… I read the Hush Hush ones when I got the paperbacks in Spanish again and sometimes I have to re-read before reading the latest one in a series.

Do you prefer movies over books ever?

NEVER.

What book are you currently reading and in what format (ebook/paperback/hardcover)?

Ceaseless (existence Trilogy #3) by Abbi Glines in ebook format
Ahhh how much I love Dank…

What book are you about to start reading?

Beautiful Disaster before my friend kills me for not reading it.

What book do you know that you will never read? Why?

I was gonna say none, actually I had that as an answer for a day then I decided there was no way I’d read Leif  by Abbi Glines, I hate that character

Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest recently and why?

Rachel Harris debut novel My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century was really good so I’m looking forward the second book.
Also Ginnifer Albin’s Crewel trilogy looks really good.
I wish I could give you something more specific but the truth is I might get interested in a book because the blurb is great or because I had a little chat with the author and really like them.

Have you read a book that you would like to rewrite the ending of?

Oh yeah! Shadow Heir (Dark Swan #4) By Richelle Mead, that ending is cruel. I want another ending, in my head it ends very differently hehe

Do you like book trailers? Why or why not?

I do! It’s so good to get to see a bit of what you imagine in your head in film for the book. And I like how now books gets more publicity.
Or maybe is because in Argentina they don’t do that sort of stuff so I really like it.

Name your three favorite book covers:

1. Die for me – Amy Plum
2. Silence – Becca Fitzpatrick
3. Try Me – Diane Alberts

Where do you usually blog?

My Blog only I can pop up at Brina Courtney’s FB page as I’m an admin there every day but just random comments.

Do you have any pet peeves?

I know I do… I can’t think of anything right now though.
I hate people leaving lights on around the house, just turn them off on your way out…
I have a “right way” of putting the hangers in my closet… so is annoying when other people put them the other way…
And I absolutely can’t stand disorganized pappers… they have to be all tidy over a desk or table…

I’m not very weird, am I?

How often do you blog?

Twice a week in a busy week.

How many books do you read in a month?

At least 2. I go crazy if I don’t. But it can be a large number on vacations

Do you have a reading log for your books? Do you have a goal for the year?

Yup I’m in Goodreads and Shelfari but I have the standard goal of 100 on both of them… I don’t think I’ll get to it though.

How do you organize your books?

Ebooks by author if I have many of him/her or by series. And all goes alphabetically.
Paperbacks and Hardcover… depends on the mood. Sometimes alphabetically… sometimes by size lol! But I always put the books by the same author or series together.

What is your favorite color?

PURPLE!

What are 5 items you never leave home without:

1. Rings and watch
2. Cellphone
3. Wallet
4. Keys (more like key rings, I have only one key)
5. MP5

What is your most favorite electronic gadget?

My Ipad :D has everything I need.

Name your three book crushes:

1. Dimitri
2. Daemon
3. Barrons

(I feel like I totally betrayed a lot of other book boyfriends, I’m blaming you)

Is there a character you love to hate?

Ash from the Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. She’s a bitch but I just feel like there’s a reason for her to be like that… just as there was a reason for Daemon to act the way he does.

Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?

Coffe! Always coffee!

What is your favorite food to eat?

Cookies *goes all zombie looking for cookies*

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

Mint with chocolate chips

What is your favorite TV show? Movie?

Tv show: Criminal Minds
Movie: The Covenant

What are you most fearful of?

Losing my family
