Another week has gone by. I have been away on vacation, so most of what I got was digital. I might have some books waiting for me at home, but they will have to wait and make it into next week's edition!

ReplyDeleteI once won a copy of a book on Goodreads only to be sent a copy from the publisher for review the same week. Ended up with two copies and both went to a lovely charty-shop-rehoming-for-books-centre. It wasn't the best book in the world. I felt more than a little sick reading it.
Yeah, I figure the few dollars I ended up spending on it was really no big deal since I got a super price with the pre-order. I was annoyed that it shipped out the same day it came from the publisher. I knew the pub was going to send it, but wasn't sure when and thought I would have time to cancel. Oh well. Once it's singed it will make someone very happy I'm sure!

ReplyDeleteI've just bought myself The Archived this week (hopefully it'll turn up soon!) so I've downloaded the 8 chapter sample too so that I can read it straight after I finish The Archived. I've heard so many fantastic things about it. Summer Unplugged sounds like it's going to be a really adorable read.
